Locomotion:
At this age your baby bends and straightens his legs (alternately or together) when lying on his back. He is starting to roll to his back from both right and left sides. He bends and straightens his arms (alternatley or together). When you hold you baby is standing position, he bears weight with knees flexed and flat feet. When your baby is lying on his belly, he is able to elevate his head and upper trunk 45 degrees and bearing weight on forearms and/or hands.
Stationary:
He lifts and turns his head so the opposite cheek is touching the surface when he is lying on his belly. When you hold your baby in sitting position, he holds his back in rounded position. In sitting position, he holds his head so that at least a 45 degree angle exists between his chin and chest.
