Locomotion:
At this age, your baby is able to maintain his head and body in midline position and bring both hands to midline when he is lying on his back. He is able to elevate his head and upper trunk 45 degrees and bearing weight on his forearms to see a toy. He rolls from his back to left and right sides with opposite arm crossing the midline. When lying on his stomach, he extends his arms and legs (alternately or together) off the surface. He brings both feet to his mouth for play or grabs feet with hands while he is lying on his back.
Stationary:
He holds his head in alignment when tilted sideways. He is able to hold his trunk off his legs when sitting. He is able to hold his head in alignment while rotating his head to follow a toy. He maintains his balance while sitting with supported arms.
