Locomotion:

At this age, your baby is able to raise his upper chest, shift weight to the side, lift up free arm and reach for a toy when lying on stomach. He grabs both feet and holds them. From his stomach he is able to elevate his head and stomach bearing weight on his palms. While he is lying on his back, he shifts his weight to the side and supports himself while extending his opposite arm to reach for a toy. He rolls from his back to his stomach leading with his hips followed by stomach and then shoulders. He uses his arms to move forward 3 feet while on his stomach.

Stationary:

He maintains his balance when sitting while moving hands and arms to grasp a toy. He is able to pull up to a sitting position. He pulls up to a sitting position holding adult’s fingers. He is able to sit unsupported.
